Vernon Cottage has a prime elevated vantage point on the route of Shanklin Carnival Parade and Shanklin's illuminated Carnival Parade.
The Parade both starts and ends just below Vernon Cottage in Shanklin Old Village.
The dates for this years Parades are Wednesday 5th August and Saturday 8th August. Why not join us for a bite to eat or something to drink whilst you watch the processions. A note of warning however, our elevated position provides an excellent vantage point on both occcassions, so your early arrival and ordering of food is strongly recommended.
